Yoga

"Yoga gives meaning to me as I continue to practice by means of reading, workshops, courses, self-study and applying a dutiful care through teaching to further my knowledge and deepen my wisdom."

Alix's first taste of Yoga was aged 16 and she's stayed curious ever since.

Alix developed a home practice early on, taking inspiration from The White Lotus Foundation which has roots in the Sivananda Ashram and pioneered in "Flow Yoga." This led her to travel and live abroad for a few years until 2013 when she completed her YTT with YogaLondon at Kagyu Samye Dzong Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Centre in London. This intensive training was rooted in the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition but incorporated elements from many yoga forms. Choosing to qualify as a Vinyasa Flow instructor has meant Alix can teach both restorative and dynamic classes, modify yoga for different groups/abilities and she's evolved her own unique style.

Alix has devoted 15 years of studying Yoga first as a student now as a teacher and maintains the same passion she felt aged 16.

"Yoga has blessed my life and I look forward to supporting you on your spiritual path."
